Adventures Begin with Timeshares: Magic Tree Resort, Kissimmee FL
*Our first accommodation on this trip to Florida is a one bedroom Condo with a full kitchen. The grounds are very inviting as well! I really enjoyed the tropical ambiance. The Resort is called “Magic Tree Resort” This place was a nice surprise!
It looks as though this was a traditional hotel in its past life, but, has been converted to Timeshare Condo Units and done very well. You can also rent them thru Expedia or other search engines as well as Timeshare exchange programs. (you can see more photos using the link listed below ) They have refurbished the whole complex with nice modern interiors with a large master bedroom with comfortable bed!
The furniture was comfortable and met our needs with the full kitchen amenities.
The grounds are very tranquil with an abundance of tropical plants and flowering bushes. The complex has a good sized pool, a kiddie pool, and a hot tub (that was nice and hot)
They have several fire pits in different locations for a little time of relaxation and conversation with your party.
Taking a walk around the inner courtyard area I found more activity areas: A human sized checkers board which looked like a lot of fun!
They also had a ping pong table and shuffleboard. Gas BBQ’s were in convenient locations and each had a table next to them for your dining pleasure.
The Resort offered movie checkout in the lobby at no charge, and a library as well which was a nice touch (click video link above) This resort was laid back and fairly quiet, which was very nice. I imagine it is more lively at peak times but we appreciated the peaceful environment. The Check in staff was friendly and helpful, with easy check in process and good tips on the area. (as we were walking for grocery shopping at the nearby walmart it was suggested that we take along an empty backpack to bring items back in- great idea!) The resort is located next to Walmart for all your grocery and sundry items (or stock up before you go! don’t forget the sunscreen https://amzn.to/2LdJyZO & aloe vera https://amzn.to/2Lddwgu The Florida sun is intense!)
